Roger Noe

roger-noeRoger Noe spent the first 22 years of his career in the US Army where he was appointed as a drill sergeant several times and finished as a 1st sergeant. During this time, he shaped the minds and experiences of soldiers and made a difference in their lives. Mr. Noe began working with Interlink Counseling Services in 2005 as a 2nd Shift Monitor. His duties included regularly dispensing medications to clients, logging and updating the medications in the computer system, completing client intakes, leading community meetings in the evening, performing new client orientation, and supervising kitchen operations. From this position, he began as a Primary Counselor in 2006 and was responsible for 15 ICS clients as well as individuals in Shelter Plus Care (SPC) and Single Room Occupancy (SRO), which are various housing programs offered by Interlink. As a Primary Counselor, he created case plans, taught educational classes, managed aftercare plans, and conducted individual counseling sessions. In 2008, Roger became the DUI/Outpatient Coordinator and assumed the responsibility of teaching the DUI educational classes offered by Interlink, evaluating and assessing incoming individuals, and offering individual counseling to DUI clients. In 2009, Roger once again temporarily assumed the position of Primary Counselor and received the caseloads of 15 clients in Harmony House, an intensive inpatient treatment program offered by Interlink Counseling Services. However, in 2011, he resumed his role as the DUI/Outpatient Coordinator.

Roger Noe received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management along with taking several psychology courses. By attending yearly trainings in areas such as the effects of drugs and alcohol on the brain, different types of community, individual counseling, and recovery dynamics, he consistently remains current with new treatment methods and better able to serve the clients at Interlink Counseling Services. In addition to continued education classes, Roger Noe received his certification in Recovery Dynamics, which is an innovative treatment method designed to identify client problems and create solutions to prevent relapse. Along with volunteering to aid in the coordination of events at Interlink such as client graduations, fund raisers, and the color guard, Roger Noe worked as a Big Brother from 2006-2009 and mentored youths who were raised without father figures. Overall, Roger has willingly offered a huge contribution of his time and effort to ensure that every aspect of Interlink Counseling Services runs smoothly and effectively and will continue to do so well into the future.
